Before founding Mom and Me, I ran a successful business named BellaBoudjies in South Africa. I started this business after we tragically lost our little girl, Isabella, at the age of almost 15 months in 2021. At the time, I was also pregnant with my second daughter. With large bills to pay and the overwhelming need to find a way to keep going, we started BellaBoudjies as a means of support. More importantly, it was a way to keep Isabella's memory alive, allowing the world to continue remembering her.

During my time with BellaBoudjies, I gained valuable insights into the importance of creating products that are both beautiful and functional. After experiencing the joy of building a brand that families trusted, I decided to take a new step in the world of fashion, expanding into a range of fun and stylish products for women and girls.
